April is Childhood Abuse Prevention Month

4/19/2016

Every year an estimated 686,000 kids are abused or neglected in America. 1,600 will die as a result. Child Abuse Prevention Month brings awareness to the fact that we all need to be diligent about reporting abuse or neglect. We also need to take time to help those parents who might need a helping hand. Our grantee, Prevent Child Abuse America, promotes services that improve child well-being in all 50 states and develop programs that help to prevent all types of abuse and neglect.

You can help by getting involved. Make a donation, take action in campaigns or learn more about abuse so you can spot it you know what to do. Learn more HERE.
