The holiday season is upon us, and celebrations look different for our neighbors and ourselves across the country. For some, that means holidays spent apart from loved ones or observed virtually. It means the continued uncertainty of not knowing where their next meal will come from for millions of others.
Our most vulnerable populations — children who are out of school and rely on school lunch programs, low-income families, the elderly, and individuals facing job disruptions — face significant barriers to receiving safe and consistent access to meals.
This season of giving, America's Food Fund is encouraging those who can to give the gift of a donation to help provide meals for the more than 50 million people in America, including 17 million children, who are projected by Feeding America to experience food insecurity this year.
